We specialize in web copy, blog posts, case studies, feature articles, and social media posts. We work with you to create custom content that is tailored to your specific target audience and goals and that reflects your brand voice.
Who’s Lori?
Lori Straus’s professional marketing experience began in 2005 as a public relations coordinator for a new multicultural performing arts company to market an experimental arts piece.
She transferred to the tech sector in 2008, and by this point, Lori had started writing feature articles for trade magazines.
In 2013, Lori officially opened her freelance writing business. When demand for her services outgrew her available time, she expanded into Lori Straus Communications in 2021.
Lori still writes for clients, but she also oversees all client work at Lori Straus Communications.
Do You Contract out Your Writing Services?
No, none of our writing or editing is contracted out.
We know it’s common to see a list of employees on a website. We currently don’t do that so our writers can enjoy a little privacy. But they live in Ontario and are employees of the company. They come with a wide range of interests and backgrounds so we can draw on that knowledge to create your content.
You have a right to know who’ll be working on your content. Feel free to ask Lori at any time.

We usually respond within one business day. We’ll ask you about your business, your customers and target audience, your content goals, and any copywriting that has worked in the past. If everything sounds good to you, we’ll send you a contract with your estimate and project plan. It’ll be up to you what you do next.
We don’t believe in high-pressure sales tactics. So, please contact us just to ask questions. We may follow up—because that’s what a caring company does—but we won’t add you to any email list simply because you wanted to talk to us.
